How to Make your Mini Rainbow Keyring

Thank you for buying the make your own mini rainbow kit. You’ll be able to reuse this pattern using any yarn. For thicker weight yarns increase your hook size (usually 1 full size smaller than the yarn suggests)

What you’ll need You’ll need your 5 colours and keyring ready along with your own 3mm or 3.5mm crochet hook and a needle to weave in your end.

Crochet Terms

SC – Single Crochet (UK Double Crochet)

SL – Slip Stitch

CH – Chain

Notes

At the end of each round simply slip stitch to join, then you can ch1 and pull the yarn though to secure.

You do not need to weave in your ends, carry through the loose end on the next couple of stitches if you like to secure them. Leaving them loose provides a small amount of padding for the inside.

You can attach the next colour anywhere in the previous round.

You can make these rainbows to sell, please credit me as the designer and link back to where you found the pattern, however, please do not sell or redistribute this pattern.

If you struggle with this pattern there is a video tutorial available here that you can crochet along with https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0tAVtYsviWg Why not mix it up and change the colours, maybe a reverse rainbow (like below), some brights, or maybe different shades of 1 colour.
